So first and foremost I am gonna get this out of the way. I am a Christian and God is my everything. He has always been there for me and my Bible tells me that he always will be. I thank Him for the many, many blessings he has given to me and I can honestly tell you that accepting Him was the best decision that I ever made, and ever will make.
I go to church at Faith Valley Community Church, an awesome non-denominational church on Bulaville Pike in Gallipolis, Ohio! We have service Sundays @ 10am and 6pm, and Thursdays @ 7pm. We'd LOVE to have you!

Okay, so a little "about me" I suppose. Well, as you probably already know, I'm 17 and a Senior at the NEW River Valley High School (Best school ever!) in Bidwell, Ohio, (though I really REALLY miss our original home in Cheshire) and my name is Ruby. I really like my name...I used to not hear it a lot and that made me feel weird, but now I really like it, so of course as soon as I start to actually like having a unique name people start naming their kids Ruby left and right. My luck, gottah love it.

Well, I suppose that I have other redeeming qualities besides my name...but that is pretty much the only thing I really like about myself. I kinda like my personality I guess, but I've been told I can be kinda nit-picky and annoying so, idk. I do love my taste in friends though. I honestly probably have the most amazing friends that anyone could ever hope to have. When I am with them sometimes I laugh so much it hurts. [Actually I almost died laughing literally on the way home from Athens once. (Haha AJ, good times.)] All of my friends are different...but our differences link us together even stronger. I suppose you could describe us as the rebels...but honestly we are just a group of kids who seriously look like we are on drugs half the time, I swear we aren't though. We're just "high on life". (Wow...that was gay.)

My skills I guess are pretty much limited to art. I think I am fairly good...which is saying a lot because I usually don't like anything I do. I have been doing art and entering in art shows pretty much every year since 2nd grade My dreams is to go to an art school somewhere and become a professional free lance (I'm my own boss.) graphic designer.

Another completely dumb thing you probably don't care to know but I will tell you anyway is that I like to read...a lot. I am the type of person who can pick up a 400-and-something page book and finish before the day is out. Reading is a way to escape the real world for me. I really like to read modern fantasy (Harry Potter! <3) or classic romanticism. (Poe! <3)

I love musicals and plays. I think they are so amazing and way cooler to see than movies are. As you can probably tell, my favorite musical/play ever is Sweeney Todd. I loved the play and the musical! Stephen Sondheim is a genius! Also, I've been to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in New York and let me tell you, it is amazing. Go see it...now! I'm in a drama club at our school called "Act Too" and it is one of the most fun things I have ever done in my life!

I also love my music. I really don't know what I would do without it. It really gives me an outlet to let it all out. Whether I am sad, happy, angry, whatever, there is always a song for it.

Well...except for that...I have 2 brothers, the infamous Robert Ball, and Marrell "Brandon" Ball (He's a preacher!), and I have a AWESOME Mom and Dad. I have 3 dogs, Sweeney, Shadow, and King, and 1 cat, Piper. I love them all and I am very much an animal person. (Sweeney and Piper are mine. <3)
